Back to School Or Not

Education, Homeschool, Public School

I've heard these arguments, "We send our kids like Jesus said, sheep among wolves",  "Our kids have excelled in public school", "My child is a straight A student", "We can't abandon the school system, the enemy will gain more ground".  And so on and so on.

Really, really really!  If your goal is to educate your children,  Public School has failed everytime, even if your child gets straight A's.  I was one of them.  Even since first grade I was the best student in class.  I'm not exaggerating, all the way through College.  My father taught me since very little not to be a good student but to be the best.  Soon, it just became a part of me to be excellent in everything I did.  I went through schooling just fine but gain no real education.  This is a big difference.  I did the right thing my teachers asked me, but was I learning truth that would change me?  No.  A few things I learned are, and your children are learning too:

  1.  Betty Friedman was a hero

  2. How to use condoms

  3. Our Founding Fathers were atheist and deists

  4. Hidden truths about George Washington.  History textbooks have been revised over and over to delete Providence interventions, miracles in the founding of America.

  5. Planned Parenthood will take care of you

  6. Homosexualism is another naturally biologica sex

  7. In Elementary, you learn about fairies, Christmas is all about Santa Claus.

  8. We came from monkeys

  9. The earth is millions and millions of years old

  10. Dinasours are millions and millions of years old

  11. In the beginning there was a spec of dust and everything came from there

  12. To believe what the teacher says is true, and not parents

  13. It's ok to break every single of the 10 commandmants.

From friends you learn:

  1. To be cool and hang out with them instead of with your parents or siblings

  2. Sex

  3. Inmodest, lustful dress

  4. Spend a lot of money in cosmetics and toiletries and unfitting clothing

  5. Laugh at foolishness

  6. Tolerate sinful life styles

  7. Experiment if you are bisexual

  8. To talk like them

  9. Bible is not relevant

  10. Dating

  11. Ungodly music

  12. Waste time

And the lists can go on and on.  You can add to this list.

Here is the formula:

Teaching academia truth + a little bit of poison mixed in it = A new pattern of thinking

"The tuth is that in the late 19th century the government Marxist cartel overthrew home education because Christians were a danger to a Marxist utopia.  There were important political reasons to take parents completely out of the picture.  Once that happened, teachers replaced parents and diverged them from theology.  They began to school them rather than educate them into patterns of thinking and behavior conforming to a socialistic state.

The best minds of America have been conditioned to information that is not true about many things and education itself.  When we think of school we think with a compromised mind of Marxist schooling.  For example, it is false that public school have always existed in civilized country.  They are a recent failed experiment.  Before, literacy was almost 100% and now it has destroyed literacy and compromised students to think and created a deep moral paralizes.  Marxist say it’s a success because it has done just that.   It was their goal.

Psychologist John Dewey said, “high literacy is an obstacle to socialism.”  He proposed a system to reduce literacy in students through a forced public education system.  For over a century, the experts have institutionalized children. They’ve schooled them, not educated them.  They’ve limited their access to their parents and access to real education.  All this is necessary for a successful socialist economy.  Today social planners say, “schooling is the way children will be fit for life in the modern world.”  This is why so many parents are uncomfortable with the idea of home education.  They believe it will rob their children of success in this world.  And yes, it might.  There is the opportunity to build something different.  Educate our children to live for the kingdom of God and not the kingdom of this world.  A complete non socialist world." Insert by Geoff Botkin

Shall we conform? to the patterns of this world?  Or shall we follow God's Word on Educating our children?

Demographic Winter

When the great social experiments of the 1960’s were launched, and when concern over a “population bomb” loomed large, we did not have the social science and economic studies we have available to us today.  So the world embarked unknowingly on a self-destructive course.

Demographic Winter: The Decline of the Human Family seeks to reawaken society to the importance of the stable, intact family, and engender a discussion and greater focus in the media, in academia, in the halls of policy makers, in religious circles, in the committees of civil society and in households around the world.  Our hope is that all of these circles will bring to bear on the problems facing the family the tremendous contributions each can uniquely make.  In this way, we hope to avert the storm that is now most surely coming on.

Why Home Education?

HomeschoolingOur number one reason for home educating our children is that it is God's way of fulfilling the command of Deuteronomy 6.

  1. We desire the best education for our children and that can only come from the Word of God.  Thus our main textbook is the Bible.

  2. We pray for our children to gain a heart of wisdom.  That would only come from learning God's ways and not the wisdom of the world.

  3. We have no time to waste.  Too much time is wasted sitting in classrooms listening to teachers trying to keep order in the class.  Education is far more than just academics.  We teach about life.

  4. We are the primary responsible for our children so we need to discipline their actions.  We cannot do that if we don't know what they did or said all day.

  5. We are the experts when it comes to our children because we know them best.  We know what they need and what they don't need.

  6. Age-integrated teaching.  Children are not age segregated like in school.  The older ones will learn love, kindness and patience when it interacting and teaching the little ones.  The younger ones learn better and faster from the older ones.  No room for selfish attitudes or immaturity.

  7. Nutritious, homemade food,  rather than cafeteria food.

  8. No peer-presure, no humanistic teachings, unstructured

  9. Go at our own pace

  10. Te tell you the truth we just love being together and learning together about God and life all day.

The list goes on and on.....

Which other reasons do you have for home educating?

Be Fruitful and Multiply!

We like to call it "Unplanned Parenthood", not that children are not planned.  They are planned by the wisest and greater, Creator mind.  For God knew every child even before they are born.  He knows best what we need and when we need it.

Here are a few reasons why it's best to "Be Fruitful and Multiply".

1.  It is God’s original intent since Creation.  It has been His first commnad to man since it's creation.  Wow, how much time did God think they needed to get to know each other before having babies.  No need for that in an unfallen world.  As newlyweds embrace Christ like characters, babies are always a blessing.

2.  God’s Word has something to say about  abstinence for married couples:  after birth and during menstruation.

3.  Psalm 127: Blessed is the men whose quiver is full of them.  4.  Psalm 128: Blessed is the woman

5.  Deut. 28 :4  “I will bless the fruit of the womb”.  Children are a blessing period, not an inconvineance or a curse or expensive.....

6.  God's commnad of  "Be Fruitful and Multiply" is against the Eugenics movement presently mascaraded as "population control" or "birth control"

7.  These are the 10 commandments of the New Age:

The ten commandments are as follows:

  • Maintain humanity under five hundred million in perpetual balance with nature

  • Guide reproduction wisely, improving fitness and diversity

  • Unite humanity with a living new language

  • Rule passion, faith, tradition, and all things with tempered reason

  • Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts

  • Let all nations rule internally, resolving external disputes in a world court

  • Avoid petty laws an useless officials

  • Balance personal rights with social duties

  • Prize truth, beauty, love...seeking harmony with the infinite

  • Be not a cancer on earth...leave room for nature...

8.  Humanistic minds say: “Overpopulation is the world’s top environmental issue” ScienceDaily (Apr. 20, 2009)

9.  The Muslim culture that is not influenced by American Culture have a goal and a purpose.  Please watch:  http://www.youtubhttp://www.wnd.com/index.php?pageId=122103e.com/watch?v=6-3X5hIFXYU

10.  God desires godly multigenerational seed

11.  God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob… God thinks Generationally.

12.  Children are highly desired in the biblical Hebrew culture:  Rebekkah’s sisters bless her as she marries Isaac: “May your children be millions and nations, and may the possess the gates of their enemies” Gen 24: 60

13.  A Holy Purpose: A key for Multigenerational Blessing. Isaiah 58:12

14.   The Feminist movement has come against children so as to make women feel like children are a burden.

15. The Enemies of God who are against this holy command:

Karl Marx 1860’s

Charles Darwin 1860’s

Robert Owen 1830’s

Margaret Sanger 1860’s

John Dewey 1930’s

16.  The Pill is an abortoficient invented to reject God's blessings of children.

http://www.wnd.com/index.php?pageId=122103

17.  We should pray to have several children and not limit God in how He wants to bless us.  We should aspire to see our children possess the gates of their enemies.  We should should study and prepare to raise them to be exemplary effective Christian warriors.  We should think ahead, not only to our children but to our grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  We must be passionately in love with our children.

Key FAQ’s:

1.  How can a couple enjoy a sexual relationship without the worry of getting pregnant?

This is the number one question we get.  The question itself is full of erroneous thinking and a western mindset.   Everytime a couple comes together they reflect the very image of God in becoming one and should submit the outcome of that union to God who is the one who opens and closes the womb and is Sovereign above all things.  And the consumation of Christ and His Bride in the coming Wedding of the Lamb of God.  This culture has perverted that which is only holy and created by God and has made it a sport of selfishness.

2.  Is it a sin to do family planning?

We're no one to sit in the seat of judgement for the salvation of your soul, but upon all the evidences listed above God's Word says that "if you know what's good and you don't do it, it's a sin (James 4:17). Why would anyone not want to get blessed?

Living Debt Free

We live in one of the most expensive areas of the United States.  People here believe is a way of life and totally normal to live in debt or at least have a home mortgage loan.  Most families have double income--that's husband and wife.

We had been there and done that.  And have repented for not trusting God and for not following His principles concerning money.  We had always been very frugal and never had any debt other than a mortgage.  Once our first baby came I've stayed home and have not regret it.

Where we live people like things.  You know, they like nice cars, subscriptions, nice big houses, a bout, an RV.... Is it like that where you live?

Proverbs 6 talks about debt as a very serious thing.  That's how we began to see it.  We had at that time two houses on mortgage.  My husband's business ran dry and are now 9 months with no income.  We sold our house and moved to our other one in the same area.  We are now selling this one too and believing God to live debt free.

Virtuous Womanhood

Virtuous Womanhood, exerpt summary from the book "Much More"

How strange is to refer to a woman as a “godly woman” these days.  We hear of successful woman, career woman, talented, sophisticated, smart, beautiful divorced.  It is a much nobler thing to be a good wife than to be Miss America.  It is a greater achievement to establish a Christian home than it is to produce a second-rate novel filled with filth. The world has enough women who know how to be smart.  It needs women who are willing to be simple.  There are enough brilliant women, but lacks brave women.  There are enough popular women, but lacks pure women.

A real woman is a woman who recognizes that she has been exquisitely and perfectly created by a loving God for a unique purpose.  Out of genuine gratitude, awe, and a desire to please her Maker, a real woman joyfully embraces her femininity and submits every aspect of her identity to God’s original and unique design for her as a woman.

  • Self-denial

  • Humility

1 Peter 5:5

  •  A gentle and quiet spirit

1 Peter 3:3-4

  • Dependence and Non-self-sufficiency

Self-confidence and self-esteem are humanistic ideas that people are inherently good.  But our source of strength and confidence must be entirely in Him (Psalm 18:32; Psalm 52:5-9).

  •  Dress Modestly, excellent and feminine

1 Timothy 2:9

1 Timothy 5:2

When we do our brothers harm by tempting them to sin, we are sinning against then and against God.
